The XGIMI Horizon Pro brings a big-screen 4K picture to any room. It is small enough to carry from the living room to the bedroom, and it sets itself up automatically wherever you put it.
- Sharp, bright 4K picture
- Auto focus and keystone correction
- Built-in Harman Kardon speakers
- Compact and easy to move
- Some streaming apps need a separate stick
- Fan can be audible in quiet scenes
Design & build
The rounded, fabric-covered body looks more like a smart speaker than a projector. Auto focus and keystone correction straighten the image in a few seconds, so there is no fiddling with settings.
Picture & sound
The 4K picture is sharp and bright enough for evening viewing, with good colours straight out of the box. Blacks are not as deep as a good TV, but in a dark room a 100-inch image is hard to argue with.
Features
Android TV is built in, along with two Harman Kardon speakers that sound fuller than you might expect. Some streaming apps are not available natively, so a separate streaming stick is a good idea.
Our verdict
A great way to get a cinema-sized picture at home without a permanent installation.
